A visible discount badge does not always prove that a product became cheaper today. For example, a store can lower the regular price from $120 to $95 while the sale percentage stays the same, so ordinary discount-only analytics may miss the real price drop. Price drops are calculated from product price history, not only from a visible sale label. A product can appear here when its current tracked price is lower than a previous recorded price or when it reaches the lowest price we have recorded for that product.

This helps shoppers compare whether a discount is fresh, whether the price is at a tracked low, and which stores currently have meaningful price movement.

What is a lowest recorded price?

It means the current tracked price matches the lowest price found in our saved product history.

Is a price drop the same as a coupon?

No. A price drop comes from product price history. A coupon is a separate promo code or deal that may or may not apply at checkout.

Why can prices change after I click?

Stores can update prices, stock, coupons, and checkout conditions after our last check, so the store page is always the final source before purchase.
