Reptizoo FAQ
REPTI ZOO coupon and terrarium selection guide
A REPTI ZOO coupon may reduce the equipment cost, but habitat suitability
depends on usable dimensions, orientation, ventilation and the animal’s
species-specific environmental requirements. Select the enclosure first,
then plan compatible heating, lighting, humidity control, monitoring and
interior furnishings.
Choose usable geometry—not gallon capacity alone
Two enclosures with similar advertised capacities can provide very
different floor area and climbing height. Compare the external
dimensions and internal layout against the animal’s adult size and
natural movement pattern.
Low-profile enclosure
Prioritizes horizontal surface area over height. Check substrate depth,
hide placement and clearance between the basking surface and overhead
equipment before selecting this format.
Wide terrestrial habitat
Provides more room for horizontal movement and for separating warm,
cool, feeding and hiding zones. Width and depth usually matter more
than the gallon label.
Vertical enclosure
Adds climbing height for species whose care requirements call for
elevated perches or planted vertical space. Confirm that branches,
lights and misting hardware can be positioned safely.
Stackable habitat
Can reduce the floor space used by multiple enclosures, but each level
still needs ventilation, safe electrical routing and adequate access
for cleaning and animal care.

temporary prices. Swipe horizontally on a phone to see all columns.
| Enclosure | Listed dimensions | Orientation | Material and access | Useful layout characteristic | Verify before ordering |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| RAK08SG 6-Gallon Terrarium | 20 × 12 × 6 inches | Very low and horizontal | Float-glass construction with top access | Compact, low-profile layout for an appropriately sized animal or invertebrate | Adult space requirement, escape security, usable substrate depth and overhead heat clearance |
| RAK08 10-Gallon Terrarium | 20 × 12 × 10 inches | Compact horizontal | Glass enclosure with removable sliding screen top | More internal height than the six-gallon model while retaining a compact footprint | Whether top access is practical and whether the screen supports the planned equipment safely |
| RK0118 35.3-Gallon Terrarium | 36 × 18 × 12 inches | Wide, low terrestrial format | Full-glass knock-down enclosure with front access | Expanded floor area for a horizontal temperature gradient and multiple interior zones | Required adult enclosure height, assembly space, door clearance and stand dimensions |
| 36 × 18 × 18 Habitat Format | 36 × 18 × 18 inches | Balanced horizontal format | Available in several REPTI ZOO enclosure and kit configurations | Adds vertical room compared with the 36 × 18 × 12 format while keeping similar floor area | The exact model, included accessories, door type, background and whether the listing is tank-only or a kit |
| RK0226 90-Gallon Terrarium | 48 × 24 × 18 inches | Large horizontal habitat | Knock-down glass enclosure with double hinged doors and screen ventilation | Four-foot width and two-foot depth provide substantial terrestrial floor area | Whether 18-inch height is sufficient, assembled weight, doorway clearance and support furniture |
| RK0240 120-Gallon Terrarium | 48 × 24 × 24 inches | Large 4 × 2 × 2 format | Large glass habitat with front access and screen ventilation | Combines a four-foot footprint with additional vertical clearance | Stand load rating, final assembled size, heating distance and safe access to the screen top |
| 120-Gallon Stackable Aluminum Terrarium | Check the selected configuration | Large stackable format | Aluminum frame with tempered-glass doors | Designed for multi-enclosure planning without separate open shelving between every habitat | Stacking components, ventilation clearance, cable routing and compatibility with the chosen stand |
| 67-Gallon Vertical Paludarium | 24 × 18 × 36 inches | Tall vertical format | Glass paludarium with a listed 10-inch-deep base | Vertical planting and climbing space with a deeper lower section | Species suitability, drainage plan, filled weight, waterproof setup and access for cleaning |
Gallon labels are approximate product categories and do not replace a
dimension check. Product construction, accessories and specifications may
change; verify the exact model number before ordering.
Plan the environmental equipment as one system
A suitable enclosure is only the structure. Lighting, heating, humidity
and monitoring equipment must work together without exceeding fixture,
thermostat or electrical limits.
UVB and visible light
Determine whether the species requires UVB and, if so, the appropriate
lamp type, output, placement and replacement schedule. Screen mesh and
distance can affect exposure at the basking location.
Heat source and thermostat
Select the heat source only after defining the animal-specific warm
and cool zones. Use a compatible thermostat and keep within the
controller’s listed output and device-type limitations.
Ventilation, fogging or misting
Humidity requirements vary widely. A fogger, mister or covered section
should not be added automatically; first consider ventilation,
substrate, drainage and the species’ safe humidity range.
Independent measurements
Use appropriately placed thermometers and hygrometers to verify the
actual environment. A controller setting alone does not confirm the
temperature or humidity experienced throughout the enclosure.
REPTI ZOO ordering checklist
Complete these checks before ordering a terrarium, fixture, controller
or replacement part.
Plan for the animal’s adult size
Use a reputable species-specific care standard and account for
horizontal movement, climbing, hides, enrichment and temperature
zones—not only the animal’s current juvenile size.
Measure the complete installation path
Check the stand, room, doorways, stairs and ceiling clearance.
Include space required to open doors, remove screens and service
overhead equipment.
Confirm the exact model number
REPTI ZOO sells many similarly sized tanks and model-specific
accessories. Match the SKU before buying a screen top, stand,
stacker, door or replacement component.
Check equipment compatibility
Verify bulb base, wattage, fixture rating, thermostat type, output
load and whether the controller supports the chosen heater or lamp.
Inspect ventilation and humidity plans
Confirm that the habitat can maintain the required environmental
range without stagnant air, excessive condensation or unsafe
drying. Plan drainage before adding automated water equipment.
Review large-item purchase terms
Check cancellation timing, accessory exclusions, custom-order rules,
original-packaging requirements and the process for reporting glass
or shipping damage.
REPTI ZOO coupon and terrarium FAQ
Practical answers about enclosure sizing, environmental equipment,
model compatibility and checkout discounts.
REPTI ZOO sells glass, aluminum, composite and screen enclosures,
including horizontal, vertical and stackable formats. Its equipment
range also includes lighting fixtures, UVB products, heat lamps,
thermostats, timers, foggers, misters, monitoring devices, stands,
décor, substrate and replacement accessories.
Start with the species’ adult space requirement and movement pattern.
Compare enclosure length, width and height separately, then subtract
the space occupied by substrate, backgrounds, hides and elevated
furnishings. Do not choose by gallon capacity alone.
Neither orientation is universally better. Terrestrial species
generally need usable floor area, while arboreal species may require
substantial climbing height. The final choice must reflect the
animal’s natural behavior, adult size and environmental needs.
Compare control type, supported heater, output limit, temperature
range, probe design, alarm functions and timer or humidity features.
For example, a dimming thermostat may be suitable for certain heat
lamps, while some integrated fixtures restrict which function can
be used on each socket.
No. Automated humidity equipment should only be used when it fits
the species, ventilation, room climate and drainage plan. Measure
humidity independently and avoid continuously wet or stagnant
conditions that fall outside the animal’s safe range.
No. Accessories can be model-specific even when two tanks have
similar advertised dimensions. Match the full enclosure SKU,
accessory model, measurements and mounting method before ordering.
Confirm the model number, external dimensions, enclosure format,
included parts and equipment compatibility first. Enter the code and
verify the final total before payment. Also review exclusions for
accessories or custom tanks and the current cancellation, damage
reporting, return and warranty conditions.
