Decide whether convenience means capsules or whole beans

Match the charger to the generation. OutIn lists 45W USB-C PD charging for Nano 2’s claimed approximately 100-minute full recharge. For the original Nano, its charging guidance specifies a 5V/3A, 15W supply. - Write down your water source and serving plan. Will you start with room-temperature water or have hot water ready? Count the separate espresso preparations needed before the next charging opportunity.

Why are the hot-water and room-temperature-water battery figures so different?
With room-temperature water, the brewer must heat the water as well as run the extraction. With preheated water, the battery is not doing that same heating work. The larger extraction-only number should not be read as a guaranteed number of cold-start coffees.
Can I recharge an OutIn brewer with any USB-C charger?
Not every USB-C source provides the required output. Match the brewer’s specified voltage, current and charging protocol, and use a suitable cable. In particular, a model’s fast-charge time depends on the appropriate power supply; plugging into a low-output laptop port or an unrelated phone charger is not a promise of the same result. Do I need the OutIn Fino grinder to use the espresso machine?
No. You can use the supported capsules or suitable pre-ground coffee without adding Fino. The separate grinder is worth comparing if you want to carry whole beans and adjust their grind for your brewing setup. It does not heat water or replace the espresso brewer, and it adds another device to pack and charge.
Will the original Nano Basket Plus fit Nano 2 or Mino?
No. OutIn explicitly states that the original Nano Basket Plus is not compatible with Nano 2, and the Mino listing also excludes it.
